Letter from Mrs. Henry M. Jackson

April 23, 1985

Dear Carol,

I apologize for being so tardy in thanking you for all the hard work you did on our estate sale. I was amazed we did that well, and the children were certainly happy to receive their share of the profits.

Since I last saw you, I have been traveling extensively for the foundation we started for Scoop, as well as over-seeing major remodling of our Everest home including all new wiring and plumbing, three new bathrooms and a new kitchen. The work is almost completed - thank God. It's great being back in the Northwest but I do miss Washington.

I hope all is going well with you and your family. Please accept my warmest thanks for your marvelous help last fall.

Sincerely,

Helen Jackson
